Notice of Summer Score Posting Review

We are delighted to see an uptick in the number of members who are posting their scores on a regular basis. This is a positive trend that reflects well on our competitive players and our Club. Thank you to all of you who are now posting your scores after play.

In preparation for the next round of competitive events, the Rules & Handicap Committee will conduct the second golf score posting review during the week of July 17. This review will focus on Members who are representing the Club as part of our Intersectional Teams. Score posting history and consistency for rounds played from May 31 to July 17 will be assessed. Eligibility to participate in Intersectional competitions will be based on a score posting threshold of at least 80% of rounds played. Intersectional Team Captains are aware of the review criteria and are assisting the Committee with communication to team members.

As you are aware, valid handicaps allow for equity and fair play in competitions. Members who wish to participate in all intra-club match play, inter-club events like Intersectionals and the Quinte Cup, the Club Championships and other “net” events are required to have valid and up-to-date handicaps.
