A Par 5, the 6th hole plays from elevated tees with a distant view to the south shores of Picton Bay. In order to avoid a downhill lie on the second shot, tee shots should favour either a layup in the flat area short of the fairway bunkers or a well struck drive reaching the level landing area at the base of the slope beyond the bunkers. From the latter position, the green is easily reachable with the second shot. The fairway winds around a second set of fairway bunkers located approximately 50 yards in front of the green.
