The Women's Section at Picton Golf & Country Club provides opportunities for the women members to golf together with women with comparable golf skills sets; provides a forum through which our women members can be heard; and provides excellent opportunities for social interaction among members.
The Section is directed by an Executive that is elected yearly at our closing meeting and consists of Games Captain, Vice-Captain, Secretary and Treasurer.
The Executive manages the various intra- and inter-club women's tournaments and events in which our women members can play. These events are posted in our on-line calendar, in our Women's Section Guide, and in the Women's Lounge. Details of these events are also listed below. You're encouraged to sign up for both the intra- and inter-club events - great ways to meet other women with similar interests and to improve your golf game!
Our Women's Section is a very vibrant part of the Club. Your new ideas and suggestions are always welcomed!
Message from the 2017 Women's Games Captain
Welcome to the 2017 Season at Picton Golf & Country Club.
Once again, your Women's Executive has produced a handy printed guide to provide you with useful information throughout the season. Thanks go out to the business women who advertised in this guide and whose support covered our printing costs. We hope that you consider supporting them frequently! Guides will be distributed to all members at Women's Opening Day. Also, new for this this, and for your easy reference, we are striving to include the information contained in the guide on our webpages. This will allow for updates and changes, so don't forget to check the website often.
PG&CC turns 110 this year, a true milestone. We are so lucky to have access to this beautiful golf course. There have been some changes over the winter, as there always are, and I'm sure we're all looking forward to discovering these improvements to our course. We also heartily welcome our new Club House managers.
Let's go out and enjoy the "Fun, Friendly and Great Golf" that we're known for!
